The Red Crowned Parakeet is a New Zealand Native parrot. It lives in both north and South Island forest but are hard to find.

Red Crowned Parakeet mainly eat a diet of seed, nuts, fruit ,berries and other plants.

The Red Crowned Parakeet breeds in between October and December.

The Maori name for the Red Crowned Parakeet is kakriki.

I like the Red Crowned Parakeet because they are so cool to learn adout.
